& another disclaimer on that note, because villain ships are variable: i’m extremely here for him being awful & manipulative, but his perfectly-balanced equal footing push-and-pull with galadriel is what has me feral about their dynamic. i’m not interested in either clean-cut redemption or a lopsided abusive dynamic; instead, would love to aim for that complicated middle-ground where they’re each others’ weak spots and continually picking away at each other. in short:
